New Forum Dedicated to phpBay, Build a Niche Store and PopShops
We have finally set up our new forum dedicated to phpBay, Build a Niche Store(BANS) and PopShops. It is just a default install of vBulletin, no fancy skins or headers. Having just set it up, it is of course a ghost town, but I hope with the popularity of the 3 programs that it will become a hub for users to share information and services.

I hear crickets…….
Ugh, just as I was starting to build a site about the same dang products (minus PopShops, which I just discovered), and I run into yours already built. So, are you using all 3 channels? What has been the most profitable for you? I just started 3 weeks ago and just finished my 23rd BANS site. $0.23 so far all from Adsense. That makes my labor cost at about $.0027/hr (yes, I’ve spent roughly 84hrs on them). But it is fun, researching niches, then building and optimizing them.
Seriously though, 18 of my sites were literally just submitted to Google webmasters and am about to push to other SEs. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed…
I’m going to start building a social networking site (sort of a pet project of mine) and use phpBay to make some caysh. WP is pretty cool but I just haven’t found much time to learn it hardcore. I’ve still got a full-time job, making realy money

Sorry, must comment again. I just realized you’re the same Jaap that posts quite a bit on BANS forums. Thank god for people like you. I found your posts very insightful and found them helpful in my efforts. Ok, I’m done posting and will wait til you have something to write back.

eBay with BANS has been the most profitable for me. I have only used Popshops on a couple sites that have limited traffic. I have made a few sales through Popshops, so with traffic I think it would convert very well. AdSense makes a little a month for me. PHPbay works very well also, I only have one site fully committed to using it, but I think it would do just as well as bans. Only problem with PHPbay is the learning curve with WP and the fact that it takes a little more time to get a full store set up.
Well then, let’s begin populating the “ghost town”! Here I am. Who’s next?
